Citi Prestige Replacement Card Time Frame

Just thought I'd drop an FYI for those in the same situation. I called and ordered a replacement card yesterday at approximately 3:30 PM. I didn't ask for expedited shipping but it showed up today by 1:00PM Fed Exed. Pretty darn quick! Kudos to Citi on the speed there. The reason I requested a replacement though is purely cosmetic, I only had the card for less than a month without heavy use but the designs started chipping and peeling off, it looked like I had the card for years. Maybe it was just a bad card, but for that AF, I'd like it to stay looking nice.

Lmfaooo this is exactly something I would do and matter of fact I'll do it cos my Prestige is also wearing off and it's only seen two actual swipes. Since it's very late now, I'll just request it tomorrow morning. Thanks for sharing

My prestige seems to be holding up fine after a fair amount of use. I have never requested a replacement card due to the way a card looks, but I did have to replace a debit card a few months ago because it started peeling and it was impacting the way it worked in the atm!

I used my AmEx Platinum until it started to fall apart. The card had a crack straight through it before I got it replaced.
Citi and AmEx have overnight delivery

cap1 has overnight delivery if you ask nicely too, so does discover, so do the JPM cards (Ritz and pd), and just about any chase card if you ask them for it. Barclay's is the only bank that gives me trouble with overnight card shipments.

I've never heard of Capital One doing overnight. Lol.

I was able to get cap 1 to expedite. I forget if it was overnight but it was fast turn around.

This is exciting. At least it would be if my Venture was a daily driver for me. Fee or no fee (No fee for me), I have general spend cards that just plain do better for me.

I have seen Cap1 overnight cards, a friend of mine had his card overnighted to him. I beleive they are under certain circumstances only though.
