Citi Questions

Good afternoon everyone. I have a few questions. These are not plans for the near future just looking to plan some stuff out.

1) if you apply for a new card will they use that HP for a CLI on an existing card?
2) HP CLIs on current cards, who do they pull or is it a toss up? If you call in will they work with you on the CRA they use? How much to ask for?

Thanks in advance for the input.

2) HP CLIs on current cards, who do they pull or is it a toss up?  EQ, EX (in rare cases TU). If you call in will they work with you on the CRA they USE?  NoYou can ask, but in all likelihood the system will auto-assign the CR.  How much to ask for?  You can ask for any amount you feel comfortable or whatever your profile can support.  Generally, the system will counter.

Thanks in advance for the input.

Re: Citi Questions

And they do offer SP CLIs over the phone...I think 6 months apart for any given account?

I've gotten SP CLIs on both accounts in the same call.

Re: Citi Questions

Thanks guys. At this point I feel, given what I have read, that a HP CLI would be my choice over a new account if a SP doesn't give enough. Why, because I'm focusing on travel rewards and my AA is the go to airline card. There's no new account ding or AAoA ding. Also its a single HP (hopefully EQ).
