Citi Sears Card Offers: 5%/10%/15%/20% cashback

As title reads. Those that have the card keep a look out for the email with the offer that are apparently coming in different flavors. I got the 15% offer for purchasing gas/groceries/restaurants myself on my card earlier this morning so $500 a month spend for $75 statement credit is nice

Re: Citi Sears current offer

I've been getting the 20x TYP offer on gas, restaurants, and groceries for the last 6 mos.---only problem is mine is $800 minimum monthly spend and I've never made it. The last 2 mos. (February and March) I didn't even bother. Instead I used my AMEX Gold for restaurants and groceries...and used what time I have left on my 3x CFU for gas. It's def. not 20x but it's a lot better than 1x.

I got the same offer 15% Gas, Groceries and Restaurants. I use my card all the time as I get TY Points thru Citi and use the points on Amazon.

Notice that the expiration date, in June, is when it's assumed that we'll actually be able to go out again. Nice of them to throw out an offer almost no one can use.

I know that at least most of the time you aren't able to take advantage of the offers especially now Smiley Sad but I'm glad to see that at least you're still on their radar with offers being tossed your way.

I got a 20X bonus TYP for $800/month spend up to 20,000 TYP/month offer.  Even at the best of times $800/month spend on gas/groceries/restaurants is a stretch but my perferred supermarket only reports level 2 purchase data.  If I'm concerned about meeting a threshold I mix in an Amazon gift card each week, which I never have a problem using.

Re: Citi Sears current offer

In the last 6 months, I've racked up almost $1000* in statement credits. I do not understand the how or why of what they're doing, but I'm totally enjoying the benefits...

1. 15% back on grocery, restaurant, gas (min $500/$75, mac $800/$120 back) Oct, Nov, Dec... then they offered it again Jan, Feb, Mar

2. 10% back in department stores (min $200/$20, max $600/60)  Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan

3. $10 back on transactions $100-250, $40 on $250-750, $100 on >$1000 (Nov, Dec)

4. 18 mos. 0% single transaction >$549 (Sep-Jan) + $50 back

5. 15000 ThankYou points for charging >$3000 11/26-2/29

All offers came via email, and surprisingly, they all seemed to work. What's even better ... as long as you pay => any new charges showing on your statement, you still get the full grace period __even if you're carrying a 0% APR promo balance__

I can't believe that the Citi Sears card has been my main "go to" card for this many months, but when these offers are in play, it's a no-brainer for the right categories.

Rule #1 of the game-- WATCH YOUR EMAIL and sign up right away.

(PS - hubby *HATES* me for changing around what card to use for what every month. I've been forced to print up a laminated cheat-card for him to keep in his wallet. Checking email now to see if we are going back to this card again this month Smiley Wink

Re: Citi Sears current offer

oh, and PS ... wine & beer count here in California and Ralph's and Vons have been doing some sick sales on wine, so that _may_ have helped contribute to our meeting the grocery thresholds. And restaurant take-out. It's how we deal with the lock-down Smiley Wink
