Citi Thank You Preferred Declined

     I called today to check on my application status.  Called 888-201-4523 as listed on Backdoor numbers.  Spoke with a friends CS Rep.  She placed me on hold for about 1-2min's and than notified me my application status was denied.  I asked for reasoning and she explained I didn't have enough available credit, and that my current credit limits on my other accounts were to low.  I notified her that my current Citi Card (Diamond Preferred) was the lowest limit I had.  She started to ramble about another topic.  I thanked her and ended the call.

Any thought's or suggestions?  My current CC Portfolio is listed below with available credit of just under 15k.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

CITI is being very stingy lately with issuing cards.

Don't let them do another HP to consider the recon. Citi can be wonky as rolling dice at times.   They're like spinning the wheel of CL.  I won't apply for them even though I find their 0% offers very attractive. I warned a friend not to after he got a mailer, that he'd be wasting a HP. (he's in no position to get any luv from Citi even on a good "spin").

If they want to HP, I'd pass during the recon call.  JM2C.

     Thanks for the advice, I def. won't let them do another hardpull thats for sure!  I am going to recon tonight but a little bit later.  It is 4PM my time so almost time for dinner, I will call them and find out than post back with details!
