What's the best offer? I found a 30,000 and 50,000 points offer. Anything higher? Thank you.

I just received an offer in the mail yesterday for a Citi "Thank You Preferred" card that will earn you 60,000 bonus points after you spend $2,500 in 3 months, which it says you can redeem for $600 in gift cards. Hope this info helps you.

The bonus was 80,000
80k bonus was too hard for me to turn down!
Congrats!
I have not apped in over 3 years. If I get offered the same deal you accepted, there will immediately be a hard inquiry on my reports for the first time in years. Your offer seems to be the one that I am waiting for.
Citi has been sending me offers every two or three months for the last 5 years or so. So far I haven't received the 80,000 point bonus offer.
BTW, if you need to spend a little extra, to make your spend quota, Prepaying some/all of your car insurance even for the next policy year is one way to make your spend goal without spending for things you don't need.
Thanks! Hopefully you'll get an even better bonus offer... 100k ty point bonus would be nice, no?!
That's a great idea about the car insurance. I don't own a car, but I do have other regular payments that I'm sure I could use my new cc for -- thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks, I want the 100,000 offer so will give it time for a mailing offer.
DW received an 80K offer today in the mail. It requires a $5K spend over 3 months.
We can do it if we shift all our our spending to the card, but that will require us to give up rewards we would have gotten elsewhere -- Blue Cash Preferred Grocery & Gas, Citi Forward Dining & Amazon, Target REDcard, and Sallie Mae 2% card. So, the value of the bonus is reduced from about $800 down to $600-$650.

Do you have any current monthly payments that you can pay annually (like car insurance)? Could you pay next year's car insurance payment? How about prepaying 6 months worth of cell phone, cable and internet. How about prepaying otheroutilities for a whole year? That only works if you have the money too spend.
$5,000 sitting in the bank does not earn $800.
I received this in the mail On 12/14/2011,"starting with 50,000 bounusThankyou points after 2000.00 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening-good

No limit on points earned, and points will not expire"
also,a complimentary domestic companion ticket in the continental U.S. Each year,a 15% discount on all other ticket purchases.
1st year 125.00 annual fee waived
The citi thankyou premier card.

DW now has an 50K offer, and a 25K offer for the non Premier card -- all in two weeks.
Now that she has prime scores across the board, it looks like Citi wants her.
