Thanks for the feedback! I just submitted my request. I aimed a little higher at $35k thinking that could give me a little wiggle room for a counter $5k less. I guess we'll see in 24 hours how I make out.

Well, that was a complete waste of time. I got an email back within an hour of submitting the request: CLI to $12,300. I feel like that's a SP caliber increase, not a HP. The email stated,

Our policy will allow? BS. I haven't seen the HP show up yet, but no doubt it will. Can a HP CLI be reconned? Not sure how I went wrong here, as I've seen a ton of data points on people taking their Citi cards from 4 digit limits to $20k-$30k with a HP. I can't think of anything in my profile that could have possibly held me back, but evidently something did.
Citi is weird. I tried getting a CLI on my Forward not too long ago and got denied. I have never tried getting a CLI before and the reason I was denied was because I had the max they allow, too. It has a $4k CL. I figured it was because they no longer have the Forward in their lineup. It was my main card until I got that denial and what's made me apply for other cards and CLIs these past two months. Hopefully it changes by January when the Forward changes to TY Preferred if that rumor is true.
