Citi credit cards...

just curious, why is citi so hard to get??? what are their requirements??

i hardly see any citi credit card approvals.....

I got in right before my score increased to a 670....658....maybe they saw a 670 because it increase like a day later to that....AAdvabtage AMEX...love it. Tied to my bank sect for easy payment transfer and I got my miles as soon as the statement cut on last Friday

I have CITI AAdvantage Amex as well, and I love it!  I have Sears and Home Depot as well, which are citi cards.

I think it's mostly because the systematic decisions are enforced 99.99% of the time. You can't call Citi and talk your way from a decline into a $15,000 approval or recon that $500 limit into $5,000, etc. However the system decisions your application, that is upheld and very rarely overturned.

I have gotten 4 Citi cards this year. AA, Simplicity, TY Preferred and Diamond. $35K in CL's. Easy for me. Scores in the low 700's. 8 year old Chapter 7 BK too

Lots of inquiries and 2 paid COs....

I was very surprised. I do have a secured card that just unsecured last year. Still a 200.00 limit though. Also have 3 Citi backed gas cards

3500....one collection from 07 and one from 2010 paid
