It should be noted there is more distinction between the Citizens Summit™ World Mastercard® and Citizens Summit Reserve™ World Elite Mastercard®, moreso than just adding entertainment to the 3% category for the Citizens Summit Reserve™ World Elite Mastercard®.

I received this email too.
These new cards might be better than the 1.8% card they have been offering but cards with their new rewards structure are pretty standard at this point. I've had several of them for years now. I don't see a SUB and the opportunity cost to maintain a checking account that will reduce or waive the annual fee on
their premium offering is too steep.
They've historically pulled Equifax for those who are interested.
Summit Reserve: $95 AF, benefits for tying to qualifying accounts, dining and travel-based rewards, TSA reimbursement credit, metallic pewter color.
I wish Bank of America offered a card like this.
I just recently got my notice too. Citizens has been very good at making average products that really do not compete with anyone. The majors quash them and the minors just do not offer anything like it. Its like they intentionally try to stay in the middle. I know my Citizens CashSense was one of their unique ideas before Citi tried to partially copy it with the Citi Reward+ but with Citizens you had to apply in branch for the CashSense. I just do not understand what Citizens is doing.

I really appreciate that the cards are distinct, unlike those issuers who introduce four identical credit cards!
One cool feature of Citizens bank pre approval portal is that is tells you what your limit will be, never seen that before.

That is new. Last version of the site did not have it. However Chase has been known to list SL's on some pre-approvals before if your signed in to your account.
Thanks so much for sharing, OP.
I tried the Prequal link but they came back saying my Experian is frozen (it is). I was hoping they'd pull EQ.
