If you don't use it, then its time to evaluate its worth.
like a few, I'm also evaluating this card to see if I should keep it or change it. And I'm sure someone will tell me I'm nuts considering closing mine as it sits at 9k CL. I started at 3200 and it grew from there. I guess they like me I don't use it as much as I once did, mainly because Amex and Discover are my go to cards. I have a visa with a much lower rate + higher limit than the amazon card though its not a points or cash back card (which is fine)
So I'm giving myself a 12-24 month window to decide. If you're not in a big hurry take some time to decide. If you just want it out of your wallet...dump it.
I would close it. It will still remain on your bureaus for the next 1 yrs. The Amazon Prime Store Card (Synchrony) is in my opinion a better product. No AF and 5% back. Typically comes with a higher CL than the CHASE product.

1 year? I think you meant 10 years.. Won't hurt you OP to close it as it will remain on your reports for 10 years and by them you should have a nice and thick profile if you don't already and your AAoA should be nice and solid as well by that time

It won't negatively affect your AAoA. It'll continue to positively affect your FICO score for the next 10 years.

Can it be PCed to another Chase product?
You have a decent credit limit. I would app for a new chasee product and move the limit over in case it's weak on your new account. I'm pretty sure Chase does a hard pull when they convert cards just like Barclays… so you might as well apply for something you actually want and then bleed off Amazon to $500 and close.
One other thing if your credit is in good health youll qualify for a new card that has a bonus. by changing products you lose the bonus. that's another thing to think about. that is why I never converted cards I just got more of them.

When I tried, the answer was No, even after escalation
