Greetings, I have a credit card with capital one I am thinking about closing the account but has a balance. If I close continue charging interest until the account is at zero? my doubt is that synchro .. stops charging interest if it is closed.

Interest continues on until its completely paid off, nothing in the contract changes with the exception of you not having access to the credit line.

Definitely pay it off before closing.
