I closed my Credit One credit card a week ago. When I login to my account, it still shows I have an available credit limit of $500. It does show a credit for interest so it shows my balance as -$.02. Should I call and ask for something in writing stating my account is closed?
Thanks!
You should receive a letter in the mail stating your account has been close. However, access to your account online will be active for several more months becuase they are going to pester you to re-open your account.
Seriously, you're about to get a deluge of mailers and emails.
Adios Credit One!!!

I was already getting tons of emails and mailers about credit limit increase for the low fee of $24.95. LOL
I was just curious why my account still shows "open" and that I have an available credit, when I closed the account a week ago.
