Today marks a milestone for me and my rebuild journey: tonight I closed my last rebuilder card, my Merrick Platinum Visa. Took adavantge of a 0% for 12 months, 3% fee balance transfer offer from PenFed and moved the last $600 on the Merrick card over there. Closed my Ollo MasterCard Saturday and now I have zero subprime accounts. I have also closed all but a couple of my store cards opened using the SCT, keeping only the ones I really use.
Long trip from a Chp 13 BK filed in August 2012 and discharged in August of 2017, but perseverence pays off!
That’s great, congrats! I felt good closing my Cap One Platinum secured card a few weeks ago as well. Way to rebuild!

its too bad you couldn't get them to pc you over to that ollo optimum card. i don't know how they're picking invites for it but i sure want one.

I didn't really consider asking to be honest. The Ollo card opened with a starting SL of $500 in March of 2018, and had only grown to a SL of $1,300 when I closed it yesterday. By comparison, my Citi AAvantage Platinum Select has an opening SL of $20k. I have 4 other cards with SL's over $10k so I don't think Ollo had any place in my future wallet no matter what PC was requested. Oh, and they made no retention offer whatsoever when I called to close the account.
