Closed Venture...

I have a total of 5 cap1 cards (3 Ven, 2 QS). Just closed 1 of the Venture and rolled the CL into my QS making it a 25k QS. Another month and I will combine all my cap1 cards into 1 QS to make it 50k CL.

I can't wait....my highest limit yet. Smiley Happy

I love Cap 1 Smiley Very Happy

Re: Closed Venture...

Wow!! That's awesome!! Did you close the Venture because of the AF or was it because you preferred earning the 1.5% cash back on the QS instead of earning miles with the Venture?

Just curious.  I have both a Venture and a QS (PC'd from the QS1) so I am always interested in asking OP when I see they have combined their CL with Cap1.

Thanks.

Re: Closed Venture...

Could you verify if you had to use your points before combining or did the miles roll over to cash back. Example, 50,000 miles converted goes to 500 dollars. I am being told conflicting things.

Re: Closed Venture...

Congrats !

Managing one card compared to five itself will give you breather - not to mention the high limit...way to go !

Re: Closed Venture...

You always have the option of cashing out the miles. Though I agree the redemption is not good.
