I recently needed to purchase several higher priced flea collars and noticed Petco had a decent promo if you opened a new credit card. I noticed they used Comenity Bank, which I have several cards through. I applied and got the Congratulations, you have been approved for a card with a $2,000 credit limit message. I went ahead and accepted and made my purchases using the card. A week or so later, I got the card in the mail. It only showed a $350.00 credit limit. Has this happened to anyone else? Could it have been an issue with Comenity? I'm positive the limit it said when I was approved online. Had it only said $350.00 I wouldn't of even accepted the card.
Have you activated the card and created a login on the Comenity account center that confirms you have a $350 limit?

Comenity/Bread has been having massive problems with their websites and reporting over the last couple of months. This could be another one of their glitches.
Yes. I confirmed the $350.00 limit on my account page. I also spoke to customer service and they claim they see nothing of the $2,000 limit it showed on the initial approval page .

Send them a screen shot of the original approval or a copy of the email they sent to you. If you did not get a screenshot or an email as proof take it in stride as a lesson to always get shots of the approval screen.
