Compass Bank sent no-fee checks right after my new card!

Really liking my new Compass Bank ClearPoints Visa. I just received the card with a $15,000 CL last week. They sent me some no-fee checks at the purchase APR (11.24%, currently 0%). I went ahead and wrote myself out a check for $3,500 to consolidate my other CC balances. I am going to pay this amount off in December. I was just thrilled to see these as it simplifies my bill paying "process" that happens every couple of weeks.

Can you let me know a little more info on this card?  What was your credit profile like when you got approved?  I have been really wanting to apply for them since there is a branch like 2 miles away but there isn't much about them in the databases and stuff.

My score was a 766 when I applied. I had several new accounts, a thin file, but a good income. My highest reporting limit was $4,500.I just started rebuilding this year. They pulled TU and I had a clean file.
