My statements with Cap1 cut between 11th-14th of every month. For whatever reason, they aren't reporting the statement balance to the bureaus, they're reporting the balance as of the 20th of every month. I've made it a point to keep utilization low until statement cuts, and then using it again but they aren't reporting the low utilization. For the past 2 months they've reported the amount that was utilized between the statement date and the 20th. If this their normal protocol?

did you change your due date recently?
mine has always reported the balance of the statement, not sure if I've ever read any dps of odd cap1 reporting like that
I haven't changed the due date, still the 7th of every month. I just opened this card in December and haven't been with Cap1 in several years, that's why I was curious if this was their standard protocol these days.
My Savor and QS are clockwork. Statement end dates are on the 3rd and the due dates on the 28th. (I purposely set them on the same cycle dates.)
Never heard of Cap One doing that, no. I still have a QS which always reports my statement balance.
Might want to double check your statement date.
The due date is not closing date or reporting date, Capital 1 reports the balance around 20th of each month for most of ther accounts.
That seems odd. Both of my cap one cards consistently report my statement balance, usually about 2-3 days after closing.
For both my cards, my statement closes 25 days before my due date, the balance on that date gets reported, and it sometimes takes a day or two for the credit bureaus to update after that.
I have no recent experience with Capital One, but when I did have Capital One cards they always reported the statement balance.
Welcome @FicoME27
Go online and click on your account. Then on View Statements. Top right of the PDF is the date cycle. The closing date is there. Thats whats reported if there is a balance after that date. My 3 have always reported a couple days after closing date.
