Converting a Slate to a Freedom

Asking a question on behalf of my mother...who has a Chase Slate. If I remember correctly, it was a former WaMu card.

She's looking to take advantage of the 5% categories, especially on gas.

Would a PC like this be pretty painless?

Yes, she should be able to just call up and PC it.

Re: Converting a Slate to a Freedom

I did this ealier in the year, just call up and tell them you want to product change to the freedom, tell them that the slate offers you no rewards so you will not use it much, they will be happy to switch it over.
