Soo.. I paid late on a Crapital One account about 3 years ago.. up to 120 days late. They put a restriction on the account and I can not use it. I've paid on time for 3 YEARS now and they still will not lift the restriction. I was told to mail a letter or fax a letter asking it to me lifted. I did that for 2 months,faxed and mailed. Now I call today and they say it will never be lifted. So i've been paying for payment protection for 3 years for nothing and I'm still paying interest... They said I can close it and try to get another account opened. Well I don't want to do that because this is my oldest account on my credit. I'm so maddddd. So now I only have 1 credit card that I can use, and its orchard bank for 500 bucks. Should I apply for another card? My Transunion is 629. Should I close the account? I'm just stuck.
