Credit Card Rapid Re-Score??

I just paid my credit card down to 2% util in order to get above 730 for the best rate on a boat purchase.  Is there a way to get something similar to what mortgage brokers get and get my EQ "rapidly"  rescored so I don't have to wait for my statement date or beyond?

Re: Credit Card Rapid Re-Score??

most likely no one is going to know that specific bank so I would call them and ask if they can push over your account as of today with the low util based on trying to get a loan. Is the loan with them? because then I would think they could just look themselves and figure it out

Not to go off subject, but Bank of America has an easy little trick to get an overnight CRA update pushed.  I know it doesn't help in this case, but posting FWIW.

They all have the ability to log into the eOscar system and do an immediate update.

Re: Credit Card Rapid Re-Score??

All institutions have that ability to push an update to the bureaus because they do it when something goes terribly wrong and requires a quick-fix -- usually their Credit Department or higher-up like Executive Office.  No special tricks, just a non-scheduled push from them to the bureau with all of the valid information and "viola", it's updated (may have to wait overnight).  Barclays did it when they mistakenly applied hard inquiries instead of softs on my reports while doing routine reviews -- I wasn't aware of it but they called me and apolo-MO-gized and quickly fixed it by the next day.  In cases like that, it's an error being fixed and not just a request to push an update.  But, you may have success also.
