I would like to start improving my credit score using credit cards. I have a SimplyBe card, Fingerhut (rarely used), and I was just approved for Credit One Bank with a $300 limit. Does anyone know any cards that will help?

Slow and steady wins the race! Only apply for credit cards you will use, especially store cards. if you don't regularly shop there, don't waste you time. What else is on your report that is keeping your score low.

Slow and steady is what its going to take, I started out with very similar scores to yours OP. I began with 1 secured card with capital one, Over the course of a year and a half I have worked my scores up to where they are in my signature and now my available credit is $23,600 and its all unsecured. My advice is to work on all the negative stuff on your report and build with a good secured card until an opportunity arises for something like a Cap One Platinum or QS1
In time you will prove to potential lenders/creditors that you are a good business risk. Make sure you pay everything on time, more than minimum and if possible in full except for a few dollars.
