I got an unsecured Credit one card a few months after my chapter 7. AF--$79.00 but really did its job in building my credit. Started with a $350 CL and now have a 950CL a little over a year. They offer regular small CL increases every few months but charge you for them. Like $19.00 for a $200 line increase. My wife has one also with a $850CL. We took these over the secured cards, expensive but they did the job, hopefully will soon move on.
Eh....they served their purpose for me. Glad I axed them. Would have kept it if it wasn't charging me interest immediately.
ouch!!!!! i ratter stick with secure card...
applied cor capone and got declined. applied for creditone a few weeks later and approved for 300.
used about 2/3 of my CL first or 2nd month and was paying about double the minumum payment. just paid off the full balance and waiting for it to report and see what happens.
i did ask for a credit increase once or twice and got declined to due to account being too new (prob a month or so at the time)
its a great rebuilder card and im happy for the approval.
since being aproved for this card and the monthly reporting i was approve for a 500 credit line billmelater (which i was never qualifying for [previouslyt) and a capone card (prob just going to keep it for utlization purposes) so its def doing its job of helping me rebuild.
