Given the recent kneecapping of the amazon business Amex card. I am looking if anyone knows any off the beaten path credit cards that earn bonuses on Amazon. This is Amazon.com spend only. My business has contracts with amazon and they supply us.
Primarily looking for cash back cards that earn 2% or greater.
I prefer business credit cards, but i'm open to personal cards as well. Its easier to cycle business cards without getting shut down.
Currently, i'm aware of the other 2 amazon cards ( Chase/Synch)
I have AOD at 3% is nice, but I doubt it will last longer than another 6 months.
Affinity CU used to offer 5% on Amazon but its now dead.
I found a few small CU's that offer 2% on the business side. Looking into a few of those but I haven't heard much about them.
RBFCU is one of them. I heard you can only cash out once a year though ? Can anyone shed any light on this ?
I get 5.25% with BofA WWF Cash Rewards, but I'm guessing the $2500 quarterly bonus cap would be a major obstacle for you.

Yes, I prefer cap less cards or a high cap. I spend around 500K-1M a month on amazon. This 5% loss is a devastating blow
Devastating is putting it mildly. At 5%, that is more earned in rewards than most posters' salaries.
With Synchrony, you are likely to quickly run into a credit line issue. I have not been able to get over $12k even calling CS; always a letter stating that their policies do not allow for the amount I have requested, same as online requests for most accounts over $10k.
With Chase, the credit line is not an issue as long as you meet their criteria, but I wonder if the same caps will be imposed if they have not already?
Other than the 3% card you have, BoA Premium Rewards at 2.625% with Platinum Preferred Honors might be suitable, and the CL would be unlikely to be a hindrance as long as you can support the line.

Or the BofA Business Travel Rewards for a 2.625% "travel cash" business card, if OP is willing to park $100k in liquid business assets at BofA.
Any thoughts to getting the business version of the BofA Travel Rewards card with Preferred Platinum status? Would get you the uncapped earnings at 2.62% and with it being a business card would be easier to explain the cycling of the limit every month. The issue might be the limit itself where it might not be high enough without planning out your purchases. Other cards to consider would be the TR card you already own or even the Premium Rewards, but all these cards hinge on BofA'e Preferred Rewards program. Barring that you might have to get a few 2% cards and spread out your expenses
Disclosure: been using my own PR for business spend in the neighborhood of at least 200k/month and other than a phone call from BofA explaining the spend not too long ago I haven't had any issues using it
Maybe the Amex Business Platinum charge card? Does it still give 1.5x MRs on transactions over $5k?
It's not cash, but I'd certainly take 1.5x over 2%.

The issue is the cap. AMEX limits it to an extra one million points. At @Shadowfactor's spend he'll reach that in a few months
Yes, BizPlat is still 1.5x on purchases of $5000 or more. With big award fares certainly that is plausible, but OP would be needing to justify and liquidate tens of millions of MRs going that route which I assume is why they are looking for easy cash back.
Edit: Oh yeah, and the cap!

It's extremely hard to get amazon to charge the card in < 5K increments. They charge as items ship. I could change that setting but it would involve another host of issues.
I don't think it's going to be a 1 card fits all solution here. Probably several. I'm mainly looking for off the beaten path credit union cards like affinity and AOD. I know others exist out there. It's just hard to find them.
