Credit increase?

When do you know its good time to request a credit increase? do I have to max out my current credit line?

If i do request credit increase, will it hurt my fico score?

When you ask for a CLI they do a hard pull.

No I always ask for CLI when I had no bal or very low one.

I would also ask for a intrest reduction....I told them that my other CC had much lower int.rate so I was using them.

No real answer. Many creditors want 6-12 months of PIF or good payment history prior to getting a CLI.
