What is everyone's take on cardmatch. I recently did some work on my credit and improved my scores a bit. For kicks and giggles I entered my info into cardmatch and i get 2 "exclusive offers" for AMX BCE, one regular, the other preferred. My credit scores are teetering on around the 700 mark, however my other offers on creditmarch are from Cap 1 and First Premier bank. These other offers make me skeptical about AMX, although I am dying to have the BCE card.
Thoughts? If i had to guess based on my credit profile, I would not qualify for BCE, which is why i thought those offers were surpising.
Edit: I have read AMX is inquiry senstive. I financed 2 cars in the past year and EQ took heavy hits during these processes (9). TU has 4 and EX has 5. Who does AMX primarily pull?
Notice the APR on those CardMatch offers. They don't list a range, they list 12.99%. And usually the signup bonus is greater.
So if you get accepted via that route, your APR will be 12.99% which is American Express' lowest rate for the BCE and BCP. So this also means you won't get your credit score, since they only provide that when you aren't given the best possible credit terms.
So for me it was great. 12.99% is my best APR. I don't carry a balance, but I still want a good APR. Yep, nothing's wrong with MY ego...
I will say this...
I just went on and checked mine, both BCE and BCP popped up for me as well. And I was recently just denied for the Delta gold, so I know AmEx isnt quite ready to work with me.

+1 I wouldn't rush off and apply based on what credimatch.com says. I think it only looks at certain factors like credit score and not the overall picture including number of inqs etc. I know I ran into problems getting an amex charge and now its recommending me for an amex revolver.
I figured. I will abstain from applying. I got cautiously excited for a few minutes.
Pre-approvals are not an accurate indicator of approval odds. However, they're the best readily available indicator.
It's always best to look at what's in your CR, and then gauge your own chances. Probably will be much better that way.

Keep in mind, it used SOME portion of your CR to determine you were worthy. I know my score is high enough for AmEx, but I dont have the complete package. So getting that to pop up shows you are headed in the right direction.

i am waiting for that offer to pop for me. Already have discover it and chase freedom pre approvals popping for me just waiting for bcp so i can try for all three and then hit the garden for at least an year lol
I was able to get a BCE at 707 so you probably would qualify
