I was just approved for a DCU savings account. I'm thinking of switching my checking to DCU, would it be another HP to do that?

It is my understanding a single pull can be used for Checking/Savings/Membership if all done at same time, all credit products will be a separate HP for each one.
I am fairly confident the HP is for membership (as with the majority of CU's), and not for checking/savings.
What if it was not done at the exact same time? I applied a couple of hours ago for the savings account and was approved. If I apply now for the checking would it be another HP? DCU customer service is closed until Monday morning.

Sorry to be ignorant, but would it result in another HP to open a checking account?

No, but if concerned since I opened my accounts a long time ago, might as well call on Tuesday.
HP for membership, HP for credit products. Neither checking nor savings is a credit product, no pull is my understanding.
Thanks Revelate,
I'm new to a lot of this. I appreciate the feedback from you and everyone else on this forum. Maybe I can help someone some day.

When I spoke to them on Friday, everything checking or otherwise is a HP, regardless of previous account relationships. I had to agree to a HP for a business checking account, and if I wanted any adjustment on my current car loan, or a CLI or APR reduction on my Visa, those would each be additional HPs, each and every one of them.
I know at my credit union they use the same hard pull for 30 days but i would wait it out and call them on tuesday to verify that. I opened my checking and savings at same time. But 2 weeks later i applied for a credit card a secured loan and a personal loan and they used the same pull from when i opened account earlier that month. Good luck and hope that is the case for them as well.
Do they pull EX?
