Delta AMEX application?

Whats the link to sign up for this card?  Since Hooters wants to charge me a $72 annual fee, I think I might try to get the Delta card instead.  Anyone have the link to apply?

Re: Delta AMEX application?

I just applied for this, and was instantly turned down. Scores in the 680s, BK 1.5 yrs old, no baddies since. They offer to tell you why you're rejected online, but their computers were down, so I still don't know why.

You will not get an  Amex with a 1.5 yr old BK.  Min will be 7 yrs.  Amex is not BK friendly AT ALL.

DW was turned downed for the Delta Sky Miles CC three days ago and everytime we try to see online the reason, it says they are updating the system, try back in 24 hrs.

I have a BK from '98 and was turned down for Delta Sky Miles. I had called before applying and was told it would not effect me because it was over 7 yrs old. So I called them and asked why I was denied and they told me it was not because of the BK, but because of two old CA from 2001. So I then I had DW apply because she has same BK, but no other baddies. I had gotten the under review answer and it took two days to be turned down, she got the immediate denial. We are waiting to see what there reasoning is on this one.

BTW, her scores are TU 651, EX 656, EQ 633.

Was it a Chapt 7?  If so they may have denied just because it is still on file.  Amex is getting even more **bleep** than before.

Okay the bleep was not profanity lets just say 'retentive'.

Re: Delta AMEX application?

I probably got a little too trigger-happy after getting a $2,250 CL on US Airways Mastercard earlier today. I fly a lot, so I figgered, what the hey, I'll try Delta.

The interest rate you probably would have gotten with Amex had you been approved would probably NOT have made you happy.

Re: Delta AMEX application?

You're right, but I'm not so interested in interest rates, just trying to get CLs up. I PIF every month. Thanks for your help. I'm loving what I'm learnin' here!
