Takes FOREVER to make a decision on a credit card application after you submit proof of identity.
I submitted my application online for the Quicksilver ONE CC on 7/1/14 at which point I got the message that I would be notified by mail on the decision. I went ahead and called the backdoor number and they said they needed me to fax my social and proof of address which I did on the same day I applied.
Since then I have yet to get an answer and its almost been 3 WEEKS. The back door number for Capital One in the stickies does not get me to a Credit Analyst which I think would be able to speed up the process. Anyone know a contact number I could use to get this process moving faster?
FYI: They are asking for proof of Identity due to a fraud alert I have with all the major CRA. This is due to a pending dispute I have going on.

To be honest I'm not sure about the pending dispute part so I'm not touching on that.
But I do know when I got my QS card it took them about 3 weeks to make a decision then all of the sudden I had a card in the mail. I suggest calling back in and getting a status, especially after a 3 week wait. They should have something to tell you.

Sorry I forgot to add that I've been calling in and checking on the status every day since I applied. (Just a bit impatient) Lol

Definitely a sensationalist.
LOL I like it, though. Just very humorous, to me! ![]()
Try getting a card from US Bank! Been in the final stages of approval for about a week!

Same thing happened to me.
