Oh yeah, they are more than familar with me at the EO!  I have spoken with them numerous times.  I actually just off the phon with them again in a recon situation to get the same card you have.  My limit now with them is $3500 it was about 9 months ago that I first spoke with them after filing a BBB complaint about my limit.  Then they raised it after playing some games with me.  They wanted to discuss my Household account no matter how many times I responded with 'wrong account' please talk to me about the right account.  I think they ended up with a bad mark because of that, but they did finally talk to me about the Capone account.  Then later I spoke with them about increasing the limit again.  This time it was about the new account and I added in a CLI for the old account.  I have yet to add in the Household bank into the mix, I won't do that until after the conversion.

So now that I have the same card as you got, let's see if things have changed.  I would hate to see it arrive and it is the $39 AF subprime version masked as a Prime card.  If that happens it will not make me happy!

Wow sounds like they really have you jumping through the hoops! I've had a good experience with them so far! Better than Chase! Was this phone conversation more pleasant? Did you have to pull teeth or were they simply calling to finally give you what you want? I really have no complaints, so hopefully once you get things straightened out we'll be sitting in the same boat.

Well they make many of us jump through hoops.  It was pretty much to call and tell me OK on the new card and no on the old card.  Reflecting om it they probably figured that since I really wanted to be treated like a real customer, the best way to do that was to give the new account to me.

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.....
Always follow these rules: Only take a HP for a new account. Always use the best rewards card for that reward category. Don't close a card unless you know you really should. Never use more than 35% of a credit limit. Recon as much and as best you can. Use the introductory period to the best advantage. Get the signup bonus. Whenever possible PIF or balance transfer so you pay less in interest. Never give an excellent rating when it is actually the norm. Always look for a discount as more is always better.
Always accept candy from strangers because they have the best candy or from people you know have good candy.

My next question would be, how generous is the EO about lowering APR as they are about CLIs?? Mine is 16.9 :-/ It would be awesome if I could get it under 15

You probably hate to wait a year after opening for that.
