Oh I'm sure she'll drive to the closest store just to get the AmEx version 😆😆😆 I think she already had the store version at one point? Heck I can't remember since she's had so many 😛... I got the AmEx version when SYNCB used to issue it.
@FinStar, LOL..you little stinker. I do have a Dillard's 15 min from me, but I have already been there and done that awhile back. You are correct in your statement about having the store version somewhat. I had the store card many years ago (1999), and it was IIB in 2013. Was approved 1/15/16 online for the Dillard's Amex version starting limit $2.5k, then CLI to $5k 6 months later, then sometime in 2017/2018 I closed the card. Not looking to re-open it, though Id get the Amex version again Im sure.
@pizza1 wrote:They took this option away awhile back, but they bought is back! You can now apply for the store card only online, but if you wish to be considered for either the Dillard's American Express card or the store card, you must apply in store. Both are issued by Wells Fargo.
The store card is a great option for those that love to shop at Dillard's, but dont have one close by, especially now since you can apply for the store card online.
I worked for Dillard's right out of college. To get your employee discount you had to put your purchase on your card. Since they made you do that the min payment for employess was 1/3 of your balance.

I didnt say I was "going for it", lol!! , and besides, I only have 9 store cards. Weird because during my very early rebuilding days, I has as many as 28, and my low has been as low as 2. So, I imagine I'll be back down to 2-4 next year.
28 store cards... at once?
You're truly a phenom, @pizza1!
Regarding the Dillards Amex card, "back in the day" (in this case, last year) when you could add Amex Offers to a third-party Amex the Dillards Amex got my attention. But of course that's all over now.
These days the Dillards card (either of them) should probably only be on the radar of someone who is an avid Dillards shopper.
In any case, thanks for the heads-up that they are once again taking PLCC apps via the website!
For me pop up yesterday but.. I am not app right now( way too many credit cards n inquires lol me
Down with Dillard's!
We won't speak about how much money I spent at Dillard's on Polo and Tommy Hilfiger when I was in college, lol.
