Dilliards..anyone ever get a letter like this??

Apped them the other day for the discounts you get when you use their card...got the 7-10 day message. Letter arrives today to call them by 6/14/12 as they need more info.

Letter was signed by the fraud prevention dept....what's up with that??!!

Yep. Not from Dillard's per say, but from another GE account.  It's a 99.89% chance that you have been approved and they just want to verbally verify the information you have provided and ask you a couple of security questions.  

If possible call them back from work or home number provided on app.  On each instance I was in and the card followed within about 7 days.

asked me all kinds of questions from my credit report...only wanted the store card but approved for the Dilliards Amex 1K which is more then ample for what I will use it for
