60 days isn't bad at all...gives me more time to let all my other accounts age before the new tl appears
So, what if these beauties never report and are treated like their current Professional Cards? I also had spoken to the UW department manager that stated these will likely be treated like their current portfolio. Of course, he emphasized that if accounts become past due or delinquent, then yes they will report to the CRAs.
I guess the jury is still out on this one and any reporting will remain to be seen. Good for some if they don't report, not so good for others - depends on which side of the fence you're on

+1
I still haven't gotten my approval yet, but it'd be great if they didn't start reporting till the new year if I'm approved. Just in case the Freedom comes through with that 25K UR offer!
I spoke with a very nice(and very knowledgable) CSR at DC yesterday.
She said that the new Diners Club Consumer Card is,in fact a credit card, as opposed to the traditional old Diners Club Charge Card(aka Professional card), thus, since it has a credit line, WILL REPORT THE CREDIT LINE AND MONTHLY PAYMENT ACTIVITY ON A MONTHLY BASIS to Equifax,Experian, and Transunion.
I received my new Diners Club Elite Wednesday, and every CSR with whom I've spoken(I've called several times with additional question, such as the one you've asked) has been wonderful in explaining everything I've asked them about!
Yes indeed...from the few posts I've read on here they are not reporting immediately, if at all. I app on the 30th and I wil give them a call first thing Monday morning lol

Keep in mind that the "old Diners Club" set of accounts also come in both flavors, Charge and Credit (aka Professional Card).
And, I'm not sure how you measure "very knowledgeable" when I spoke to another CSR who (by your definition) would tend to be measured by the same caliber yet gave incorrect information. For instance, she mentioned that one would have to create two separate user IDs for each card type (Premier/Elite). Such wasn't the case, so before you rate someone as knowledgeable, let's see how thing thing fares out since there have been conflicting reports as to which outcome it will be. Regardless if it reports or not, this will remain to be seen in the next several months.

I'm trying to gauge it myself by reviewing the posts of users that have applied to DC back in September...and I haven't seen one of them yet say that its reporting now...There goes the 1st 30 days, lets see what the next 30 days hold.
