Disco lowered my APR

Chatted online and got a permanent reduction from 23.99%V to 17.99%V
I was happy about this since the 23.99 was from 2015 when I had a secured card. I always forget to ask for APR reductions. Was reading an article on "you need to ask your CCs for these things" so I decided to try.
Was offered a 12 mo 0% BT offer (3% fee) or a permanent Prime plus 13.99% APR Variable.
Um...: I wonder what to pick.

No seriously tho... I never carry balances on my cards.... ever. In fact i feel like I should let some post a balance every now and then. Since the BT would not benefit me I took the permanant one.

Now onto my other cards to check.

Hey congrats on the APR reduction. Even though you don't carry balances normally, at least you have the lower apr in case you ever have to...good work!!

Thx all. I'm pretty happy simply because it is my first time doing that. It's nice to be in the teens range versus the twenties. My UsBank Premier Line is Prime plus 7.... (11% now) and my Huntington card is 16.49%. Feels good to have been getting good APRs with my last few Products. What a difference 2 years can make. 2015 I had a high 400's fico score on all 3.... 2016 I had clean reports and high 600's.... now I'm mid-high 700's.
