i get the same message when i try to request one online also. Basically means you have to call them and they will tell you if they can process one with a SP (which everytime is a denial for me) or one cannot be done without a HP.

I am in exact same situation as yours. All SP CLI declined for NO REASONS.

My fiancee gets the same message on her account. I read a post with someone mentioning that they had to wait a year because when they applied they had a baddie on their CR. I think My fiancee had one too when she applied. She has 2 more months for it to hit 1 year so we shall see. Also no auto luv either yet.

Mine has never worked either. I've had the card for 17 months. Every time I have had to call.

Mine said this for months, and then out of the blue discover called me to ask if I wanted a credit increase.  

 

I said sure - they then raised the limit 2K.

That message can mean 2 things and one of which is you asked for to big a CLI....

So call in lower the requested amount and worst case they ask for a HP at which time you can cancel the CLI request 

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

hmm that seems to make sense. I have been having same issue with it giving me same message. I had my last baddie fall off and was going to try for an CLI , but apparently they still dont want to play ball oh well. Its going to get SD for an while anyways. Not really thrilled with the 5% categories till end of the year for christmas shopping
