Just hit my 6 Month mark so I decided to call Discover and ask for a CLI. The Rep asked me why I wanted a increase and I stated that 1k was to low and I run around 2k per month in purchases and have to make multiple payments per month just to avoid maxing the card out. The request was denied(will receive a letter in mail) 
Scores all over 700+ and UTI is 3% I think IM going to sock drawer Discover

Wow! That's crazy. Sorry about that. I wonder what the "reasons" will be in the letter. Please keep us posted.

Im assuming it was a Soft, I asked if there was a HP an they said no. I'm not sure how DIscover reviews there accounts for CLI but its annoying! Even Barclay doubled my CL at 6 months without even asking and little use of the card. I been using Discover for everything and let 3 Months report a bal and 3 months report at 0. No luck from them

They are extremely conservative.
Thats why i'm showing them my wallet hates extremely conservative cards. 
They did the same thing to me, except I've had my card for 9-10 months with no luv. 
Discover sure is a weird beast. It seems they'll hand out the new 'It' card to anyone who apps but yet someone using their card (and credit) responsibly can't get a simple CLI.

Sorry about the decline, but don't feel too bad. Chase has not shown me any luv in 4 yrs., and they issue other cards that I want.
Im in the same boat as you. I had my Discover More card for more than a year and they still show me no luv. The worst part is that even online it wont let me ask for an increase it always gives me an unavailable at this time message. its chillin' in the SD.
