Discover does auto CLI?  How often?  

Had the card 2 or 3 yrs, never asked for one, balance zero, when charged, paid off immediately, before bill can generate.  No other debt.

One medical collection -- which should not be there (bill paid before collections, HIPPA).

Should we ask?

why not?  you didn't say how recent the collection is, which could impact your odds of success, but if you give it shot don't let them HP; that is unless you don't mind.

the medical collection is 2 yrs old?  never should be there (one of those games hospital played with CA's -- all the other CA's returned it to OC - this one took it and immediately slapped it on the CR.  No money is owed at all!)...been going through the DV process and HIPPA.  CA is ignoring us.  Haven't check it recently.  With it on there, along with some debt, FICO was 648.  No debt.  

Have had one other CLI without asking -- different cc.
