Just hit up Discover Chat and was able to get a 0% APR for 12 months.

Just ask them if your account is eligible for any APR reductions or promotional offers. I think they usually require the account be 12 months old, other than that though they are usually pretty good

Not always true. Though maybe mine is different since it's a secured card? After having the card for about a month, I chatted with them and they gave me the promo. I don't plan on using it, but it's nice to know it's there.

Probably so.  Most new cards have an existing promo so they wouldn't do anything until that expires anyway.

But secured cards usually end up with less benefits overall. So it's nice to be getting these benefits. Considering my cards before were costing me money every month because of huge fees, etc., I'm glad to have the secured and be given the promo.

They ARE on something of a roll that's been going on nonstop for awhile now. Could hardly believe it myself but was very excited yesterday when they responded to my request for an APR reduction from 17.99 and they took it all the way to 13.99%!!

They offered me the 0% for 12 months as well when I asked back in October. Its definitely a good benefit!
