So Capital One Venture added transfer partners. So, in a competition-beating move, Discover IT Miles has launched MyMiles, a quarterly magazine......
I wonder what they'll do with it.
Departures (Amex Platinum's magazine) must have a decent budget, and even they have mostly ads and what I assume is sponsored content. A few good articles, though.
AAA has a travel magazine (I assume for budget travel, don't think I ever read it), but they have a decent member base.
I guess Discover can feature ads to encourage people to spend money they don't have, then remind them how easy it is to get a Discover personal loan.
Dang that is where the perks are going that were taken away like price protection, etc.. How could I be so dumb. How could I of been so obtuse
That is hilarious! Oh well. Guess I will still only use it for the in-flight wifi credit. ![]()

You totally got me, HAHAHA!
I got an email today talking about "MyMiles" and I got excited because I thought that Discover was moving towards something like the Capital One Venture card but no, just messing with my feelings, hahaha!
With the cards that I have, I only with the Discover it Miles for the annual $30 airplane wifi credit but that's it!
Maybe with the magazine they can add more advertisers (I imagine the whole magazine being full of advertisement) and, with that, bring more money for the bank because advertisers want to use Discover's mailing list to "show" their products but dude, a magazine? A MAGAZINE? Hahahaha, hilarious specially after what Capital One released a couple of days ago (75k SUB + transfer partners), hahaha!
