Any good?
Is it even worth trying?
I love my Discover. 5% cashback on rotating categories and 1% on everything else. Right now they're doubling cash back for a year. So at the end of your first 12 months they double everything you've earned. Not to mention no AF and 0% APR for the first 12 months.
At the end of the day it's really about your needs and what works best for you... Discover might not be for everyone.
Best credit card I've ever had. Started at an $800 credit limit and less than a year later I'm sitting at $13000. They also drop my APR every time I request it, from 19.99% to 12.99%. The rewards are awesome and their customer service is second to none.
I have had mine for a couple of months. I like them. The double cash back promo turns it into an all around 2% card (which keeps me from apping for the Citi Double Cash), they let you pick from a lot of card designs, their website is user friendly, and the customer service has been fantastic.
I've just started with Discover but so far EVERYTHING about the card, from the card itself, to the service, website, apps, etc, is flawless...
I'm hoping to get the double cash back promo as well!
I am still rebuilding my credit and they were willing to give me a card even with a BK still reporting. I have had several CL since and like the cashback bonus program they are currently offering. Great customer service.

I've had their card for several years. No probs. Excellent service.
Obviously in a minority here, but their service (on the Miles card) has been pretty poor, getting wrong answers all the time. Probably because it is fairly new, but other issuers seem to cope with that (and it's not like Discover has lots and lots of different cards!)
