not a true prequal. also, even if it were, any prequal has a chance at denial. that APR range is their entire range. it's generic.

Essiantly, everyone gets the same pre-approval or almost everyone, it use to always spew out a item, even if you put in a fake name such as Mickey Mouse and a fake 3 social.

personally I wouldn't take it as a pre-approval.

Discovers pre approval gives you a 3% range. Wide open range is a cold app.

Discsover Pre Equals are useless. Pay no mind Becuase it may be a useless pull. Now here is what i have heard...if you see a lower apr or the red discover card it maybe so that you are good to go. But other than that i have no clue i am new to all of this. But when i was approved that is what i saw and i remembered reading on the boards and indeed it was true.
