I know from the forums that you can request a CLI from Discover after the 6th statement cuts. I've also read that for some people even after the 6th statement cuts they are still not able to process a CLI online, but if you were able to request CLI online how long after the 6th statement did the luv button appear?
My 6th statement just cut yesterday and I tried to access the CLI function online and it says it cannot process my request at this time (as it always has over the past 6 months). Does it take awhile to show up? Have people been successful in getting a CLI if you couldn't request one online and you called customer service directly?
I will probably wait a little while longer just because I'm waiting on some balances to update on CR, but just curious about other people's experience as this is my first Discover card and will be the first time I attempt a CLI with them.
Starting Score: 560If nothing appears by the time reports update and I'm ready to ask for the CLI I will just call in.
Anyone else?
