This may be old news Discover save old payment account if you change it for 6 to 9 mounts so if you are not careful you can make a big mistake if you are not careful.

If you are going to play janitor, please make sure to wash your hands afterwards!

Unless you're dealing with something like Google Wallet for online payments where you can clearly see what account you're using it's best to keep one account for Discover payments from your bank or routinely check which one is active before the due date if you changed banks or something along those lines.

It's the banks ways of hoping you will select the wrong account so that they can charge you a fee.
