Discover Product Change Potentially Back

Recent article on DoC, based on a Reddit post from someone's messages with Discover, indicate product change may be back starting May 14th via phone and May 28th on website. Have not tried myself yet to confirm but will be checking once available on website. Definitely looking forward to changing my It Chrome to the It Cashback if true. Does look like people who tried calling on the very first day did not have any luck though. No other DPs after the first day that I have seen though.

Re: Discover Product Change Potentially Back

I hope you get your wanted product change.

I dislike Discover and am going to let it close whenever Discover gets tired of my inactivity, but I can't even imagine having a Discover that doesn't give me cash back.

Good luck, OP!

Re: Discover Product Change Potentially Back

I know I am bumping a three month old thread, but I could not find many other threads on this exact topic.

I do not see any product change information on line nor in the app. I have not called or chatted them yet.

Is Discover still performing Product Changes?  I somewhat inadvertantly have a Discover It Chrome card which is worthless, and I am wondering what the current climate is on PCs.

Of course I will call them when I get a chance, but figured I might poll for recent experiences.

At this point, I am more likely to cancel a card than apply for another one.

@speednangels

Glad to see this might be making a comeback. Having the ability to product change is always a nice option; saves a hard pull and keeps account history intact. Hopefully this sticks around and becomes easier to do through the website.
