Discover Student Card

I have a friend who has received an invitation to apply for the Discover Student More Card. She is a full time student at a four year university, but has 0 credit history-nothing good, nothing bad. 

Does anyone know if Discover will approve a situation like that?

YMMV. It depends on her income, when she's graduating, etc. I too got one way back (15 yrs ago) and was approved. It was my first CC, though it wasn't a student CC (I don't think they had that back then). I just wish I took care of it.
