Discover chip, it's about time!

Just got an eMail from Discover that my chip card is on the way. They are dead last of all my cards.

Mine has been chipped for over a year also, my wife received the same email today for hers.

I only got a chip in mine a few weeks ago because I changed the design on my card. Had I not changed the design who knows when I would've gotten one. My Barclay Ring card still doesn't have a chip either

I had to call and ask several months ago. I read somewhere online back then that they wanted you to request it at that time.

You can get one online just click on the manage link at the top of you account page then click the add or replace a card link choose the card you want then hit the select this design link and they will send a new card in 5-7 business days.

Like others have said, Discover has had it a while.
