I got a letter in the mail for a discover it credit card it doesnt say preapproved or anything it says 0% apr and it gives me a invatation number should I apply is this like a preapproval
I would take it as an invitation to apply. What does your CR look like? scores are decent, any baddies? They have quirky criteria sometimes.
I have 1 collection for $1500 and a old charge off for $1200 my ficos all three are in the 660 range no lates 1 year of credit history
is a invitation same as a preapproval or could I still get denied and who does discover pull

No an invitation is simply an invitation. A pre approval is not even a guarantee of approval if something has changed since they mailed it.
