My new Discover and AmEx cards finally show up on my report, but neither of them report limits. I know the AmEx doesn't since it's a Green, but why not the Discover? I have a $4,050 limit that I basically NEED to have showing if I want to get a car soon. Will this change over time, or does Discover not report for some weird reason?
Nobody has any clue? Strange for this place. ![]()
Discover typically reports on all three, my More card does.
I don't know if this would make a difference or not, but it's possible, I guess...have you used that card yet? Maybe the full account info will show after the card is used and there's more to report.
Just a guess.
I've had no issues with Discover's reporting, aside from several instances in the past when updates were done unexpectedly in mid-cycle. But that has not happened since I changed my due dates for this card at the suggestion of a member here.

changing dues dates can prevent mid-cycle updates?

I don't really know!
What happened was I had a few unexpected updates. A couple of them were apparently because of CLIs I had requested, so those were explainable. But I also got some updates (with the balances reporting as of the time of those updates) during the cycle without any apparent reason.
I believe it was forum member creditwherecreditisdue that suggested there may be a glitch in the programming for my account, and that perhaps changing the due dates would help to reset that glitch. I figured, "Why not?" and went ahead and did that.
So, I don't know if that was the problem, or if changing the dates was the solution. All I know is that it has not happened since then, and I'm happy about that!
Wish I knew for a fact, but that's my story, score_building!
Used it extensively. Maybe it'll change in a month or two. I'll keep an eye on it.
