Does BOA report AU's or not? Getting 2 stories......

Had a parent try to add me as an AU on their BOA credit card. The first lady told him they could do it and that it would really help because of the age and good standing of the account. He called back today to make sure they added it, and another person told him they didn't add AU's, only would add me as an account holder and would have to run my credit to get me added? Has anyone else been added as an AU to a BOA account? Help? Trying to get points up for a mortgage.:/

They do add AU. I am on one of my wife's very old BofA cards as an AU. She is on my Virgin Atlantic card as an AU. Both report to both reports.

Okay, I think the second person he talked to must have been confused.  I hope it will help bump us to where we need to be!
