Pretty to the point. I love having the Chat/Online Text thing for my Amex and Navy Account (wish my other CU and Chase offered it....) was wondering if Discover has this as it will definitely help in making my decision I work a good bit 6 days a week so being able to reach someone sort of instantly is a big bonus for me. Thank you all

to be fair, their messaging isn't as good as Amex's (not sure about Navy). They actually encourage you to come back when the represantative replies to you, in which you'll get a push update just like any other
I miss the times when "is it metal?" was the criteria for application.
"Do they have chat" just doesnt feel the same.
@elixerin But it is better than not having anything like my Chase and Ga's Own accounts. But NF is more like Messenger super quick lol same to me as with Amex. ^^
@Remedios LMAO don't get me wrong I love the thought of a metal card, but Convenience is my biggest factor because if I have to spend my one day off chasing people to get answers while running errands and home stuff lol (which also happens to fall on Saturday when a lot of things are closed/shorter hours) then it does irritate me a lot. Do I use the other cards I have less for it.....sometimes, but I definitely put it into thought when doing something new since it does help more than I thought it would ^^
Discover is a solid card if your spend aligns with their categories, which have been the same since...forever.
Next quarter are restaurants, so if you dont spend enough, wait till the Amazon and whatever else they thrown in for the last quarter.
If you have no use for that either, dont even bother because you have at least 6 months where you wont max out categories.
Gas is also another one, so depending on how much you drive, it may or may not work.
Also, never discount the convenience of asking questions here. Our members are standing by 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to answer your questions; sometimes with more accuracy than CSRs or chat agents. Discover tends to be quite good, but for other lenders like say Bank of America it's sometimes better to ask here since we as a community usually know more about their policies and what can or can't be done than the average CSR and can advise HUCA, whereas a CSR may just say "I'm sorry, but that's not possible."
