Does Synchrony Bank Report on payoff

I am in process of paying off huge balances on my sunchrony cards. I read few posts that if you update information in Synchrony accounts, it reports to credit bureaus between statements. Is that true?

Never happened to me. It always reports at statement closing.

I've never noticed that happening for me, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention
