Does a PC affect AAoA?

I'm under the assumption that with a PC an account # stays the same so therefore there is no loss of AAoA... Am I correct?

Re: Does a PC affect AAoA?

I Requested A PC On My BofA 123 Visa To A MasterCard Backed Card a with the Same 123 Rewards. I Was Told Account Number Would Change (Obviously, Visa To MasterCard) But That All account History, Including Existing Balances & Credits Will Remain the Same.

Re: Does a PC affect AAoA?

I PC'd my BoA Platinum Rewards MC to my Travel Rewards Visa.  Only the account number changed.  On my credit report it shows that the MC is closed and my Visa was opened on the SAME date as my MC, so the AAoA did not change.
